When I see aborted uploads, they often occur at the 8192 byte mark along with the status message "Error - disconnected". It occurs so often that it is hard to believe that they occur because people abort their downloads. Sometimes, I see another request for the same file resume. I bet at that point, the person will hear a "pop" or "snap" sound when they test their file out. I inspect all my files for noise, so any new sounds would be due to these mysterious aborts.

I have been seeing numerous uploads stopped at 65536 (of whatever). The reason given is always "Connection reset by remote network." I, too, wonder whether the problem is at my end or at theirs.
