I don't know when an official newer version is coming out, but you can download newer beta versions at http://www.gnotella.com/beta/

If you are running beta 1.2.0 on either Windows 95 or Windows 98, then you will need the Microsoft DCOM update:

Not that I'm saying this will fix it. I for one cannot get 1.2.0 to work on ME, but it's does nicely on 2000 Pro.
