When i start up gnotella, after i installed version 0.9.9, it comes up with the message Run-time error 430

Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface

I have exactly the same experience. I no longer have the old 9.8 zip .... I'll run LimeWire and see if anyone else has it. That said I would far rather be using Gnutella 9.9

There are 2 ways to fix this problem.
Method 1
A) Uninstall Gnotella
B) Delete any files which might remain in the directory Gnotella was installed in that have the extensions .exe and .dll
C) Reboot
D) Reinstall

or

Method 2
A) Uninstall Gnotella
B) Reboot
C) Reinstall in a different directory than it was previously.

It does not seem that the Gnotella 0.9.9 installation even tries to remove the 0.9.8 installation. When I went to "remove programs" (Win2k), both Gnotella 0.9.8 and 0.9.9 were present. Bug?
