Having the SAME problem too
I'm running XP...behind an SMC 4 port router...when I set my IP address....this program says it's the WRONG IP address...I consistently get the message "Gnotella is attempting to connect"...but it NEVER does!!! I AM CONVINCED...even after tryin' the" save target as host.text", and THAT not fixing my connection problem, that there is a BUG in this Gnotella program....any options out there?

I think it's the IP address, I have Gnotella riuuning at 2 seperate locations within a mile from each other and it seems to work fine at one location & won't connect at the other, maybe they have a way to block the IP address randomly?
