Hi,
I have a question about the descriptor header, as mentioned in the Gnutella Protocol Specs v0.4. It says I need a descriptor ID, which is a 16 byte string that uniquely identifies the descriptor on the network. Then what should I put in it? My IP address and a generated number? Is that OK? What does Bearshare use? Thanks for your help, Ferns |
