When ever I try to open gnutella, my computer gives me the message "unable to initialize RTF control" Does anyone know what that means and what do you do about it?

In the tradition of great Microsoft blunders this patch is constructed incorrectly. However, the needed components are there. To install the patch: 1) download the patch file 2) extract the contents of the patchfile to the directory of your choice using a compression program like winzip, winRAR, etc. the files you should see are: launch.exe launch.ini ver1200.exe ver153.exe 3) extract the contents of 'ver153.exe' using winzip, winRAR, etc. 4) In the extracted contents you will see a file called 153up.inf. right click it and select 'install' 5) you is now done.... you may need to reboot first, but CNet catchup will no longer report that you need this update. Delete all the files you created since you no longer need them.
