 What IDENT does When ever you try to connect to an IRC server gnucleus starts listening on port 113. When a server makes a request, Gnucleus responds and then closes the port. I just checked the code, and tested it with a few IRC servers, it seems to be working fine for me. Try using a different username other than Gnuke, I have a feeling some servers might be banning it.  |
