connection problems

i've been using gnucleus for a couple months now, but all of a sudden the progam doesn't want to connect any more. I tried reinstalling but that didn't help, after it searches for nodes, the chache empties and the search tool becomes unusable. Anyone have an idea of what's going on or how I could fix it?
