I think I read a couple of posts recently dealing with not being able clear the Search window pull-down. I had the same problem. The clear searches button would clear the box for the current session, but at the next session the old searches would be back. I closed Gnucleus and ran Regedit (AFTER BACKING UP MY REGISTRY!) and found the entry that stores the data for this search window. I deleted the offending entries, restarted Gnucleus and voila! they were gone! If you are not familiar with the Registry, DO NOT TRY THIS! You can royally screw up your system!
I understand that many of you on this forum understand the Registry and how to work with it (so please don't take offense!) the warning is for the less-experienced users that may read this. Tom |
