He has fulfilled requests to supply source code at sourceforge.net This program runs what they refer to as Gnutella 1 & 2.

Originally posting in the LimeWire section is what got most people's back up.

I've seen snapshots by another member & seems to work well on Gnutella 2 with 10 nodes. I'd like to check out how it runs on gnutella (1). I'll check it out when I get time.

But are you using Gnutella 1 or 2 network? They are different! 85+% of represented programs on these forums don't support the so called gnutella 2 network. Each network has its own problems you will find out over time. G1 or the normal gnutella network has many, many more users & files.

Gnucleus is such an example. Have you tried it? After all, the code used in this program is mostly based off it.
