| I dl and installed 1.6.1 on 2 of my machines and it works great. Once in a while I get a gpf in mfc42.dll. About every 5-10 hours. My question is the auto update feature dl a 1.6.3 version. I go the gnucleus.com site and there is only 1.6.1. Where did the 1.6.3 come from? I look at the version of the dll and it is still 1.6.1. The about box says the product(gnucleus) is 1.6.3. My other machine didnt do the update properly and was in a infinite loop and is still at 1.6.1. Whats the correct version? thanks bob |

| Gnucleus 1.6.1 is the latest release version, while 1.6.3 seems to be the latest beta version. go to edit/preferences and select "auto-evolve gnucleus when a beta is detected" to get the newest version. you can also download betas from http://www.gnucleus.net/general/download.html, select "uto-Update (Manual Access)" As for the infinite loop, it happens for me too. the new Gnucleus.exe file is downloaded to the "temp" folder, but is not replaced in the gnucleus folder. just replace the old "gnucleus.exe" file with the newer one from the temp folder, and everything works. |
