Acqlite needs to have TLS disabled. I suspect the dev did not update the TLS code after its original implementation because LimeWire suffered the same issue for potentially affecting connections if TLS was enabled until LW 4.18 was released.

Thanks for the good news about GTK. GTK is the most advanced gnutella app these days, but does have a downloading bug. Even GregorK noted that realisation when we were privately discussing Phex uploading issues a couple years ago. Over the past year I've still seen the same GTK bug when uploading using WireShare.
