Hello,
CentOS5 on a remote datacenter server, with no GUI like gnome/kde. I started it using the same command on Ubuntu Feisty: Quote:

I don't think Phex will run on GCJ. GCJ is not fully supporting Java 1.5 yet, I think.
I recommend you try to use Sun Java. |

Do you have an X-Server installed on the server?
Some Java classes still need the presence of an X-Server, even though they don't use it.
