xp with service pack 2
DSL
Linksys router
firewall from windows software is on

bearshare.exe is listed as an allowed exception

still the first of four dots is blinking red

after a day or so on
i find a file or two has eventually downloaded
but mostly it seems to be disconnected



I need someone to talk me thru a few steps of troubleshooting...


I tried the 6346 port thing (UI think i did it right) but that wasn't t...apparently
