It's always the /db/ folder inside the one where BearShare was installed.

Default still having troubles

I have downloaded and extracted the connect.zip files to the Bearshare db, but still when I load BearShare and type in a file to search, my search says "Queued - stablizing connections." After a minute or so, I get an error message that says that I am not able to connect to the gnutella network.

Just to make sure - are there only TWO files in the connect.zip file? I ask because I currently only have available the evaluation version for WinZip and am seeing two files after unzipping... I'm wondering if that makes a difference or if I need the full version.

I also just moved into a new apartment and am wondering if it is possibly some sort of network administration block on my computer.

I've used BearShare for years and have never had a problem until right now. I'd appreciate any help, thanks.
