Hi,

there have been many problems with downloading skins...if you are having trouble try this way.....

i know i had a lot of problems with downloading the skins, (especially more than one...and to be able to see it in the menu {view} in limewire)

have you tried installing it into limewire???

try this with limewire open

http://www.limewire.com/english/content/skins.shtml <-- this is the link to beable to install it into limewire

double left click on the link that says "download into limwire"

in limewire at first it should say on the download "need more sources" under status
this would be in the in the download section {under the search tab}

right click on "need more sources" and select "find more sources for download"

it should then start downloading

it will either automatically change into your theme or you will have say so a bow comes up (i'm not sure what it says but i just selected to do it automatically-so it will automatically change into that theme)

to keep this theme....

go to the view menu, under apply skins... left click "refresh skins)


then you should have this theme...

and you can get many more this way and beable to chaneg back and fourth

I read the post & the link sent me to the same page that it does in Limewire when you click get more skins but didn't see the link on the page that says "download into limwire". I was ready to double click, well still tried double clicking on the supplied links there, but only showed a picture of the skin or just a bunch of some type of HTML gibberish. The old free version always let me change skins. Thanks but not giving up yet.

where is the download to limewire link i can not find one on my computer i have dell windows XP
