Still no connection

I run Win2000 and have had a lot of troubles with Bearshare before (blue screens). So I decided to try out LimeWire instead. At first I had difficulties to connect but after a few minutes I was up. Since then my client has never been able to connect. I've tried Telnet:ing 64.61.25.171 6346 where I git the reply "GNUTELLA OK". I have also tried manually adding connectX.gnutellanet.com, X = 1 - 4. Any suggestions? I loved the client but only got to use it once.

Are you using ZoneAlarm or any other firewall? Also your provider could be the problem.

Try to connect through a different port.
