I don't know how many are experiencing this but I am runniing into increasing numbers of improperly tagged files. I often use the internal player to 'check' incoming MP3's to validate that they are what they say they are. Too often there are files that have completely different songs and or artists from what is displayed.... there appears to be around 7-10% error rate in naming.... I recently downloaded a Willie Nelson cut... it was actually Ray Charles.
My point is there is some utility in having the internal MP3 player... I don't use it for pure listening but I do use it to cull out mis-labeled files. Last edited by bobomon; April 29th, 2002 at 12:47 PM. |

The built in player is useless. I'm wondering why it is still offered?
