Just wondering, does LimeWire add hosts to the current downloads if do a manual search and it find the correct sources?

yup, limewire adds hosts to ongoing downloads, if it finds new ones.

I just noticed something strange:
I "think" I'm downloading the same file from the same hosts bug LimeWire writes: "Downloadig from 3 hosts". Does LimeWire support segmented downloading? I think so because this file is EXTREMELY rare. I was lucky to find it! |

Apparently LimeWire found three host to download from, and is now downloading file in three parts from three different hosts...

Yes, but I am pretty much sure that it was the same host.

That's unlikely, a search result can't be added to a download more than once, unless it changes its IP, port or GUID (a unique identifier every client has).
