I can suggest three things that may help.

If you are running Limewire 2.4.3 then get the latest version which is 2.4.4 as I believe 2.4.3 had some problem and the next version was released just after 2.4.3

Download and install the latest Jave Runtime (1.4) it is free and is located at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html

Revert to the previous version of Limewire ... if you did not uninstall it it is still resident on yor machine at:
C:\program files\Limewire\2.x.x Pro.

I hope one of these helps.
