LimeWire 2.4.4, Java 1.4, W2K...
LimeWire occasionally doesn't close down file handles on files that have been uploaded. This isn't very important - the files are still available for reading - but it does get in the way of moving files around. This isn't a problem with downloading files - I've already moved them once since downloading. Nor are the files currently being uploaded. It doesn't happen often - It only affects a few of the files that have been uploaded over the course of several days continuous running of LimeWire. Shutting down LimeWire releases the files. From time to time I manually delete 0KB/s uploads to release upload slots (I don't have any particular reason to think this is related). Mark |
