Hi! I just downloaded limewire today. I downloaded a few songs that I love. I used to have Kazaa, but it was giving me trouble so I came here. So anyway, I downloaded some songs and then I went to the library... expecting the files to be there... but they weren't. I had the "Incomplete" folder, but not the "shared" folder. What am I doing wrong? Would anyone ANYONE please help me out! My email address is [email protected]. Please help me out. Thanks so much.

Goto Tools|Options|Saving and look at the folder listed there (if there isn't one - enter a location you would like LimeWire to download to).

Now Goto Tools|Options|Sharing and add the path you found above into this location.

The default share location (under windows) is C:\Program Files/LimeWire/Shared

P.S. - I don't know about others - but I will only answer questions in the forum, this allows others to see the answer if they have a similar problem (This is a particularly common problem and has been answered many times, in more depth).

Try uninstalling and then reinstall limewire. I did it for a friend of mine and it worked
