I think the Zero G Installer was new with LW 2.7.9
For the most part it works good. I really like the fact that is does not wipe out our previous options and settings. No more rebuilding our Hosts filter list. Only complaint: After installation, Zero G Installer leaves a bunch of files laying around. Such as a few in Windows Temp Folders, and sub folders, and also surprisingly a new Folder at C:\Program Files\Zero G Installer. I think this much trash left behind is sort of rude... if you make a mess, you should clean it.

Yes, it was interesting to see the new installer for 2.7.9!
Seemed to work well. I personally don't have the \Zero G Installer folder remaining... however I do now notice the \LimeWire\jre and \LimeWire\lib folders. I don't remember seeing them in prior versions A bit more concerning is the \LimeWire\lib\ads folder containing numerous ad gifs! ![]() I don't understand why this folder is installed for the PRO version?

A mistake no doubt - or just an old relic.

I did a complete uninstall of 2.7.9 before install of 2.7.11. The current installer is much cleaner & efficient.
