Yup -- Adam's got it on the nail. Before adding persistence of the column size/visible preferences I wanted to move the search results over to the same table system.... but that's a really big project, and one I just didn't have time for. I'm 99.9% positive that it'll happen shortly after the new year, though.

I hide the chat column (in everything) & the status and hosts (in connections) column too much to not do anything about it.
