2.8.5 Bug or Feature?

Running Limewire Pro 2.8.5 on a PC and love the new features. Seem to be able to download about as well as ever before.

However, with over 1400 mp3's available, I usually have a line of users waiting for my side to upload to them. Since the update, I'm only getting a couple hits an hour and the ones that seem to be able to successfully upload from me are also using 2.8.5.

Hmmm, is this a bug or a feature>?

This has nothing to do with the new version. The number of hits you recieve entirely depends on the ultrapeers you are connected to.

that may be, but doesn't explain why only other users of 2.8.5 seem to be able to download from him, as he seems to think. I need to pay more attention to that, see if it's the same here too.

Most users have already upgraded, although you won't see 2.8.5 ultrapeers because of a very bad bug.

I believe all LimeWire versions can download from him, but he's just seeing 2.8.5 because it's the predominant version.
