![]() I'm running 2.8.5, and my limewire leaf continually connects to itself, listing an ip address of "localhost.localdomain", i'm not even an ultra-peer so why am i connecting to myself? Does this have something to do with GUESS? |

![]() I assume you are on Linux? Lets just say that you shouldn't be connecting to yourself. Does your machine have a name? You can deny connections to 127.* but that should already be happening. Perhaps move your limewire.props and set it up again. Thanks -greg |

![]() ah, yes I am using linux. My machine is simply named localhost.localdomain. The only time this ever happens is when i connect to another 2.8.x limewire client, as soon as i connect to the other client my machine drops the connection and connects to itself for some reason. It's not really a big problem, seeing as how extremely rare it is to connect to another 2.8.x client, but it is kind of annoying sometimes. |
