Limewire Beta 4.9.5

Beta 4.9.5 appeared to download & install without problem but does not run.
Clicking on Limewire application file (80kB) has no effect.
Uninstall works fine.

you probably are missing java or need an updated version..

check out: http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

and if your running windows, i recommend downloading the windows offline installation so you have a copy of the install program for java.

Ultracross - many thanks for such a fast response, appreciated.

Am running Java jre 1 5 0 04 windows i586 p which is latest file.
Had already downloaded offline installation file as online version does not install correctly on my machine (never has, although I forget error message).

Thanks again, I will retry 4.9.5 later
