New version of Limewire didnt run on Windows ME

Hi,
Yesterday I upgrade to the new version of Limewire (basic), but when I try to run the program, something happen that didn't let me use the program and then I have problems with the other programs, until I remove it.
The Version of Windows that I'm using is ME, and I saw in the web page, that this version is compatible with the software. Before this update, I didn't have any problem with the previous versions.
Please let me know how can I fix this problem.
