![]() There's a bug with 4.11.1 PRO on Windows that if your preferences directory is .limewire instead of Application Data/LimeWire, it won't start up after the first run (the first will work, the second and later attempts won't). You can fix it by deleting the .limewire directory (which will cause LimeWire to use Application Data/LimeWire instead for this and future runs). It's already fixed in our development version and will be in the next release. For this and future beta bug reports, please use: http://www.limewire.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=75 . Thanks. |

![]() That is a problem that has been around for a while it happens when you are installing LimeWire/Java on Windows and it hangs during installing Java. Each time you try to reinstall it starts another install and it hangs at the same spot. Re booting will do no good they will just start back up when Windows starts back up. The only way I know of to stop it is to do so through the Task Manager. Open the task manager back up stay on the processes page highlight each instance of LimeWire exe. then click on end process. This should stop them if it doesn't you will have to delete the LimeWire folder or folders and edit the registry. |
