I launch limewire, and it just sits there and tries to connected to it's auto-connect hosts. But it can't. It just writes connecting... and nothing happens. Finally it stops and I stay disconnected.

I do not use any firewall, I have windows XP (And I DID disable the standart windows XP firewall).

I'm connected to the internet.

My ISP doesn't block port 6346.

I tried to use bearshare, and it connected fine through the same port (6346), but I don't want to be forced to use bearshare :-(.

This problem lasts for 3 days now.

Have you looked at the connections window? I been having the same proublem too. I think the way to solve the proublem is to type in a connection. The proublem is that I don't know any.

I tried that and it didn't work, but I guess that it was just a temporary problem. I can now connect.
