How do I make a shortcut to my shared folder

i need some help....just installed limewire yesterday and i cannot get it to a folder on my desktop...i have tried changing the destination of the downloads ...i have tried searching my harddrive and i can only find the music in my library.....i would like it on my desktop though.......

What is it that you can't get on your desktop? The LW.exe, the LW shortcut Icon, the LW Saved and Incomplete folders?

Have a feeling this is what you mean. Of course if you have changed downloadlocations etc. then the locations have changed from what is specified in the thread

it must be the saved music...i used to have etomi and i made a shortcut but i dont remember how....long time ago....the problem i am having is i have a built in cd burner in my computer and i cant get the songs to a folder on my desktop so i can burn them to a cd.......can you help me?

now i screwed something up...i had it where all my music is when i clicked the explore button and now it is bringing up my documents which has nothing in it.....help!!!!!

That's because you changed the download and shared locations

You need to get those straight first

Share the folder with your music and make that your downloadlocation as well (in Limewire that is)

Then close and restart Limewire. Now the explore button should work
