weird problem !!

recently i was at my frnd's place ....i was trying to download " ***** "....and did it successfully in 2 hrs. Tht was an incredible speed at which it was downloading(it was around 400-500 kbps ....obviously it varied consistently).His actual internet connection speed is 128kbps....He told me that sometimes he gets search results which is shared on speed of " ETHERNET "..... i tried once again downloading some other audio file and did it on same speed very fast.

The problem is when i tried to download the same at my home.....the search never showed up results having ethernet speed.....

why is that?

They are on the same Network as your friend is. Probabbly an appartment complex or condos that have a shared ISP.

I believe I've read that those files (on the same local network) will show blue stars in the search results...P.S. please don't refer to copywrited material in your posts...it's a no-no!
