Default What Java should I have installed?

I have read many many forums through out to optimize the speed of limewire, and all have done well... but there are all different posts about which java should be used. Could someone please tell me which one is best and where to download/install from please... thanks so much!

Some people were having trouble with the most recent version of Java (version 6)...so we would recommend that they stick with Version 5 update 11. Some Vista users were having trouble with the older version, so we would recommend that they use Version 6.

If you're not having any trouble currently, and you use one of these two versions, I would keep things the way they are. You can update if you want to. If you run into trouble, you can always reinstall the previous release.

Hope this helps

Dan

It may help Limewire run more efficiently, but it probably won't make your downloads any faster.
