the one advantage to using 'dated' technology is that many times its pretty cheap to 'upgrade'...

what you need to verify is the CAS latency your motherboard wants to see....2.5 is pretty common and I bet the stuff I link to above will work just fine and dandy....

198 MB of RAM indicates that you have a 128 MB stick and a 64 MB stick. Which is really dodgy. If you are using memory that low it also indicates an old type of RAM. you really should think about a total system overhaul.
