Ok say your a band or an individual artist is there a way to post your music on to limewire your self so like someone could just come accross it and download it?

yes ... give your music files well detailed id3 tags. The more details the better. An alternative method but perhaps not as good is selecting the music files in your Library window & pressing the Description button. This information will be picked up in searches as well as the file name.
