Installing LimeWire 2.4.4
Downloads OK (2.5 MB)
Unstuffs OK (4.9 MB) Then NOTHING... The #"€! installer doesn't do ANYTHING. OS 10.1.4, FP iMac 800MHz, 1GB memory...

Same here...
The installer won't run on my iBook...it launches and quits immediately. Limewire has no customer support and they want us to buy it? I think not.

For whatever reason, if you extract LimeWireOSX.sit with StuffIt Deluxe or via Magic Menu, the resulting installer application (LimeWire_Installer) won't work. It will try to launch and then quit immediately. So instead, find your copy of StuffIt Expander and drag the LimeWireOSX.sit file to it to extract it. The installer should work now.
