Problems Launching LimeWire

Using OS X, every time I try to launch Limewire, I get an error message reading:

Cannot Launch Java Application
The main class "com.zerog.lax.LAX" could not be loaded

Does anyone know how to fix this so that I can use Limewire again?
any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

Well.I seem to be having the same problem as well. The last time i wrote here with this problem i was told to wait for the new version and this issue will be resolved.Today I downloaded the Basic Limewire version 2.5 and tried to run it and am getting the same prompt.

I am using version 10.1.5

my solutions

For me the problem seemed to stem from me installing limewire within a subfolder in the Applications folder. If you install it directly into the Applications folder, it should work.

Another idea:

Try uninstalling LimeWire and MRJ then reinstalling the latest version of MRJ. After installation is complete, install LimeWire.

mbockstruck you are right!
Moving LimeWireOSX.sit in the /Applications folder and then extract it, it works.
Thanx
