Default How do you play downloaded dvds on Mac OSX

For three weeks I've been waiting for a simple answer on this one. I've checked the threads, and while the question's been asked numerous times, it appears no one has answered it. Plain and simple: how do you get dvds to play on MAC OS X? Both Quicktime and Real player seem to need more "components." What are the components? Where do you get them? How Can someone in support answer this most basic of questions so I can start to enjoy Limewire fully?
