I've re-installed 3 times, but am unable to view the limewire window (the taskbar is fine). I thought the problem might be solved purchasing Limewire Pro, but I was declined several times for credit information discrepancies (although I confirmed them with my credit card company).

Any bright ideas?

Try deleting any old pref called "limewire.props" .

Hmm. You could try changing themes to force a new window to display--maybe play with the view menu's options.

Which machine and version of OSX are you using?

I'm guessing you've done the usual troubleshooting: run Software Update/safe boot/repair permissions/clean install
