3.5.7/3.5.8 quit on launch
 

I'm attempting to use Limewire on a new G5. The download of the installer went fine, but when I launch the app, it quits instantly.

Anybody else run into this?

Which OSX version are you using?
Lucky you--G5--but of course not many have posted with those specs.

You could try the beta (3.6.*) available at the bottom of your Pro page, http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml or one compiled directly from recent open sources such as http://baghira.han.de/~jum/LimeWire.html

It is doing the same thing on 10.2
Beta Release is just as bad. Starting to wish I did not pay for it.

You are entitled to email support if you're a Pro user, but they'll need a better description of your problem and more info about your set-up, especially if you are using an older 10.2 version.
