Help for mac osx Limewire 3.8.7

i am tring to download version 3.8.7 (the newest one) but every time i open up the little windo and click on the lime slice nothing happenes, it doesnt download anything. what do i do

Were you using Safari? If so, go to the Window menu and choose Downloads. You should see the file name listed there and a magnifying glass icon you can click to search for the download location on your hard disk.

ive tried absolutely everything to try and launch the installer, i went to my window option and there was no download thing or magnifying glass.... i have OS X and im dying to get the thing running... plz help... is there anything else i can do???
