LW crashes on launching hey guys, I'm looking for help. One month ago I had an old version of LW and it was just working fine, then I updated it to the 4.0.5. And since then it crashed each time I launched it. A few days ago I formated my Mac and installed a new system. I am running OS X 10.3.4 with all updates on a 12" G4 800mhz Ibook 512Mo. I still have the same problem. Here is the info in the console : Installing LimeWire 4.0.5. Thanx |
delete all "lime" stuff everywhere (including stuff in the Library), do a safe boot/repair permissions (details here); restart normally and download a new copy. For some reason java has to get a workout or two on a fresh Panther install before it runs smoothly. |
Cool Thank you so much, it worked :) I deleted all lime stuff, boot in safe mode and used Onyx to repair the permissions. |
