cant get started anymore

i used to use limewire problem-free

now everytime i try to start it up, i get two error messages stating that i have no internet connection.

i have already done the firewall thing, uninstalled, and reinstalled and i get the same messages.


HELP

How do you connect to the internet and what is your connection speed? I ask this because I was using a friends Mac with Mac OS X and they were using a slow ISP and I was getting messages in LimeWire saying I was not connected and sometimes I would only be connected for only a short period of time before LimeWire would say I was disconnected. I was actually connected to the internet but the connection was very slow and LimeWire did not pick it up. I hope this help.
