limewire doesn't work at all

I have osx 10.3 on an emac g4. Limewire just stopped working. It times out after not responding. If I type something, it doesn't respond. I downloaded the newest version of java. Please help me.

Did you try downloading LimeWire again? Be sure to trash the old version and save the songs you've downloaded. I hope this solves your problem.

Thank you. I had already tried to re-install and that didn't work either. Any other ideas?

What version of Mac OS 10.3 do you have? To see what version you have go to the Apple menu and come down to "About This Mac" You might want to run Software Update from the Apple menu to make sure you have the latest software. Apple recently released Mac OS 10.3.5 and Java Update 1.4.2 Update 1. I'm not sure if this will work but it is worth a try.
