How can you tell LW version in OS X?

I downloaded the installer for LW Pro 4.2.6 for Mac OS X, and the installer seems to go through all the right motions, but I'm not sure it really did install anything, because LW Pro is still listed in the Finder as version 4.2.5, the previous one.

I was also surprised to find that there's no way within LimeWire itself to show what version is currently running. Almost every program has an "About" box that gives, at the very least, the program name and version number, but I can't find any such thing within LimeWire.

So I don't know whether I have successfully installed LW Pro 4.2.6, and the version number showing for it in the Finder is a mistake, or whether I haven't installed it at all.

Top left select Limewire you should see options such as About... & Preferences. Select the About Limewire & this will tell you the version.
