Default Limewire 4.8.1 - no mountable file system

Yesterday I bought Limewire Pro 4.8.1 I downloaded with Safari and I'm using OSX 10.3.8

When I double click to install - nothing happens. Error message 'no mountable file systems' . I've erased and redownloaded - same error. Any advice is appreciated.

There's numerous things you can try, such as drag & drop onto disk copy. Or restart your computer & do a SAFE Boot & Repair Permissions

Also look at these: 1. Stief's kind words of advice or 2. a bit of apple knowledge needed

Thanks. I've repaired permissions and run Norton. Still cannot double click to install the purchased Limewire 4.8.1

As long as that was norton 8 that's fine. Did you try the other suggetions by both stief & me. Do you know applescript? If you used mac prior to osx it shouldn't be any problem.

if the installer is corrupt, use Safari's Empty Cache, delete the installer off the desktop, and try again.

Or, control-click on the download link and save to a different location.
