I have the same problem, but I can add that the problem only started today, after I installed OS 10.3.9. Other P2P applications won't work. Is it a trick from Apple to protect its iTunes store?

new version still will not run. Limewire has worked before

Default limewire now works for me ! thanks (see below for solution
I needed to install Security Update 2005-02 and 2005-04.
Java 1.4.2 was already installed on my machine.
Limewire now works with MacOSX 10.3.9

i also installed 10.3.9 and limewire would no longer work. i tried every solution posted to no avail. i then went to the apple download site and found a java update for mac osx 10.3.9. i downloaded and installed it, and the limewire worked great. Hope this helps someone.

I'm having the same problem!!! I updated my mac, and now limewire won't load. I tried to update my java, but it says that I already have the most recent version.
