I'm planning on buying a new Mac next month and I'm wondering if LimeWire 4.8x or 5x will be compatible with Mac OS 10.4 Tiger? Thanks.

Of course, Tiger is using Panther's 1.4.2 java by default (java 1.5 for tiger is in beta, available in a future update), there will not be any problems. Please do not cross post between forums.
Ciao
