Just an FYI...
After installing a fresh copy of the new OSX, Limewire will not install.... I am sure it is just the installer itself, but something that will need to be fixed for all us who have upgraded... |

What error message do you get in the Console (in the Utiliites Folder, I presume) when you try to install?

No error message in Console?
Was Console (the application that's in your Applications->Utilities Folder) running before you tried the installer? |

The jum build would most likely solve it but that doesn't solve the regular LW installer issue faced here.

Thanks for the crash logs--they help indeed.
rkapsi has been testing LW and Tiger . . . and tried to reply earlier but the forum was/is down. Stay tuned . . . |

It looks like as if your Installer.app or some of the surrounding components are broken (e.g. Install.framework). Have you tried to install something else that is using a .pkg installer?
To isolate the problem please try to launch Installer.app (you find it in Applications -> Utilities) and if it works do a right click on "Install LimeWire.app", select Show Package Contents and then navigate to Contents -> Resources and double click "Install LimeWire.pkg". |
