Mac OSX 10.1.2 - Limewire won't install
 

Bought this from a friend, who did a restore to start me off clean.

I'm a newbie to the Mac World so bare with me.

I go to download Limewire, it pops up on the download manager and finishes downloading. Pops up on the desktop as a plain white document that I can't open or do anything with for that matter. I'm sure it's something I'm not doing right or something I don't know about. What do I need to do? The help is much appreciated in advance. Thanks!

You will need to have admin priviledges on your computer! Try dragging the installer to your computer. Then double-click it.

If all that fails, get the Jum beta version. All you do is drag & drop the file from the opened dmg image wherever you desire. http://www.mager.org/LimeWire/

I'd also recommend you update to the last OS 10.1.x which I think was 10.1.5 but i could be wrong.
